Jennifer Lawrence is busy filming Bryan Singer’s X-Men: Apocalypse, but she took a break from fighting En Sabah Nur to brighten spirits for patients at a Montreal children’s hospital.

The actress, 24, popped over to Shriners Hospital for Children to visit and take photos with the kids and staff members. “A very special visitor stopped by our Canada hospital today,” read a statement on the facility’s Facebook page. “Jennifer Lawrence is in Montreal filming a new movie and she made time to visit some of our Shriners Canada kids and staff. Everyone had a great time!

This visit comes a week after the cast of Ghostbusters made a special pit stop of their own. Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Kate McKinnon, and Leslie Jones stopped by Tufts Medical Center in Boston in full costume.

Lawrence is reprising her role of Mystique, the shape shifting mutant freedom fighter, in X-Men: Apocalypse. She’s been filming for the past few weeks with co-stars Michael Fassbender, James McAvoy, Nicholas Hoult, and Oscar Isaac. While she told Entertainment Weekly that her character’s makeup and paint might deter her return to the franchise, she said “there is hope. I don’t want to not be asked.”
X-Men: Apocalypse hits theaters on May 27, 2016. Check out all the photos of J-L
aw’s visit to the children’s hospital below.
